2012-2013
Shivangi Jaiswal undertook the interior design of her home, sparking her interest in design and creativity. With a background in the IT industry, she began to delve into the field through freelance work and projects, collaborating with a dedicated team of carpenters, electricians, and a false ceiling crew.
2015-2016
Shivangi expanded her horizons by delving into modular furniture and modern fittings, establishing partnerships with factories for enhanced quality and expedited delivery times. She joined forces with online platforms such as Urban Company (formerly Urban Clap) to serve the entire Bangalore area under the banner of Spacility Interiors. A modest display centre was established on the second floor of a day care building in Noble Residency to facilitate collaborations with her team and clients.
2018-2019
On August 8, 2018, Shivangi launched SPACILITY DECOR AND FURNISHING (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED and introduced the brand CrayonHome – Make Home a Statement, focusing on the interior design sector.
2019-2020
The CrayonHome display center was moved from a quaint residential locale to the bustling Begur Main Road, directly across from Prestige Song of South. A significant commercial project for Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty salon, covering 2,000 sq ft, was designed and completed.
2020-2021
Shivangi forged partnerships with prominent brands like Homelane, becoming a dealer partner, and collaborated with execution partners such as Inch Factory & BPC Design for top-quality project completion. She successfully delivered several bespoke residential turnkey projects during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, achieving high customer satisfaction.
2022-2023
Nilesh Kumar came on board as a Co-Founder, and SPACILITY DECOR AND FURNISHING (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED transitioned to SPACILITY DECOR AND FURNISHING PRIVATE LIMITED. Another major commercial project, the Isa Spa, covering 2,000 sq ft, was skillfully designed and executed.
2023-2024
The range of offerings was broadened to include exclusive dealership agreements with the Excel brand, providing premium and imported wallpapers, and Fabrex for high-end curtains and sofa fabrics. A partnership was also established with SK, a globally recognized supplier and manufacturer of natural stones, enhancing the material selection and design options available to clients.
